Writershub is a relatively seasoned company in the writing industry and has been operating in the Kenyan market for the better part of the last decade. The company has a built a reputation for reliability, while offering a stable platform with great growth opportunities for writers starting out in the industry.
How they Work
Writershub is a bid and take account. For the take orders, you can take orders in two ways: by keeping refreshing your ‘available orders’ page until a take icon appears, or by opening the new order and refreshing until the take button appears.
For bid orders, it is recommended to not waste time on the ‘preferred writer’ orders and just ‘hide’ them. Bid orders are assigned based on various factors such as your level/ranking, KPI, and unavailability of other bidders.
Levels and Ranking System
Writershub has 4 levels:
• Probation- a new account is put under probation, if you successfully complete 5 unpaid orders, you can be upgraded to junior level.
• Junior level- A junior level account can bid and take orders, but you can only have 5 orders in your pending orders at a time.
• Senior level- A junior writer is upgraded to senior level after completing 50 pages without refunds or late reassignments within a given month. They also need to have overall positive feedback and other key performance indicators. A senior level account can have a maximum of 10 pending orders at a time.
• Teams writer- after good performance in senior, you can ask HR to upgrade your account to teams. You can take more than 40 orders in your pending at a time.
Workflow
Writershub has work all year round but in the months of Jan/Feb..July/Aug/Sep it declines, which leaves writers at lower levels with less access to work. Peak months are April/May/June…Oct/Nov/Dec. All writers in all levels can see and bid on all orders posted on the platform. Those at higher levels; Senior and Teams fare better, especially in the low seasons.
Compensation (CPP) and Payments
Writers in senior and teams levels can have CPPs from $3.5-$5 depending on order urgency and complexity. Junior writers can have $2.4-$3.8, based on the same factors.
Payments are bi-weekly and you are paid money in your upcoming section, provided it is above $50. You are paid 15days after your last payment.
Support and Quality
Support at Writershub is reliable and structured. They are strict on quality and deadlines. They read and review all papers you submit, and thus will not survive with poor quality. You will be fined for lateness, negative customer feedback, refunds, and late reassignments.
When raising concerns about a customer, be professional, because they will often take customer’s side. To avoid any issues, it is advisable to always deliver quality papers.
Growth and Earning Potential
Writershub offers great opportunities for growth, You can grow from probation to senior and also teams level, by meeting the criteria listed on the levels section.
At hub, the review done on the 15th of every month, is the main basis of evaluation. Writers accounts are assigned KPI ratings out of 50, depending on how they performed in the period of evaluation. Following the evaluation an account can be promoted, demoted or retain its current level.
Account Stability
Writershub is a relatively stable account, with minimal chances of termination. Your account won’t be closed easily unless you go contrary to their policies, like plagiarism.
However, you can be demoted after bad performance, with a fair chance of getting upgraded again when you up your game within a review month.
OWC Tips
1. Deliver quality work if you want to succeed at the company, and enjoy all the money you work for. Fines can chew a significant chunk out of your earnings, if not careful.
2. Ensure timely submission of work
3. Employ professionalism in communication with support and customers
4. Only consider working with writers from the Senior or Teams levels. If you do, make sure the writers you engage can meet the quality requirements at the company.

Do you open Academia
Bakanja Buoga Mugai hi, sorry no.
How do I apply for an account in writershub?
They usually take applications on their website, but I do not think they are currently accepting.
I dont understand how after finishing my project i then need to pay 500 to get 250 said to be for bid so as to reflect on my account. Please make me understand.
Hi, you must be referring to the “fake” Kenyan writershub that is scamming less informed writers. Writershub.org do not ask you to pay anything. And they pay in dollars not Kenyan shillings.
