How the Account Works

Edusson and its affiliates operate as a client-assign bid account, where clients post work and writers place bids. The system distributes posted orders to different writers based on factors such as subject ratings, writer ranking, current account available orders access rate, urgency of the order, number of pages, and the client’s preferred service level (i.e all levels, gold, or platinum, which allows the customer to choose from the best rated writers for an additional fee).

In addition to manual bidding, Edusson has a feature called “Force Assign,” which automatically places bids for writers. Orders with auto-placed bids are highlighted to the client and recommended as the top choices. Only a few writers are recommended per order, increasing the likelihood of the client choosing a recommended writer. Force Assign is available for intermediate, advanced, and expert writers and is based on the writer’s account performance, such as completing multiple orders with good ratings in a specific subject. To increase the chance of being recommended for specific subject orders, writers should complete multiple orders and receive good ratings in those subjects. However, reassignment and cancellations can negatively impact a writer’s account performance and likelihood of being recommended in the future.

Levels and Ranking System

1. Beginner: This level is for new writers who have not yet completed 5-10 orders. At this level, writers have access to frozen orders of fewer pages and are not eligible for the force assign option. The number of orders in progress at a time is limited, but it is easy to get orders.

2. Intermediate: Writers who have completed between 10-50 orders move to this level. The amount of work and CPPs are increased compared to the beginner level.

3. Advanced: Writers who have completed 50-100 orders become advanced writers. They have access to a greater number of orders and receive higher CPPs.

4. Expert: This level is for writers who have completed more than 100 orders. They have access to the largest number of orders, receive the highest CPPs, and can take up more work than the previous levels.

In addition to these levels, Edusson has a Group category for writers who work with teams of writers. The Group accounts have the capability to handle a higher workload compared to individual accounts, and they receive additional benefits as well. A writer can be eligible to join a Group after reaching the Expert level and showcasing a proven track record of completing a high volume of orders with exceptional quality and no client complaints. These groups are closely monitored by editors who regularly evaluate the quality of their work to ensure that it remains at a high level, as working with teams can have varying levels of success. Joining a Group will increase your access rate, and therefore, your earning potential, but it will also increase the level of scrutiny you face at the company.

At Edusson, writers have control over their earnings for each order as they set their own bid amount based on their understanding of the order requirements. However, Edusson has established minimum bid recommendations for writers to consider when bidding on orders. The recommended minimum bid, known as the CPP, can vary based on the urgency of the order, bidding time as well as the writer’s level. 

All Edusson accounts have a minimum recommended CPP of $4. The minimum bidding price for orders varies by account level, with Expert level accounts having a higher minimum bidding price compared to other levels. For instance, Expert accounts have a minimum CPP of $4 for orders with long deadlines and a minimum bidding price of $11 per page for orders with shorter deadlines. In contrast, Advanced accounts have a minimum bidding price of $9.5 for orders with a short deadline. The minimum bidding price increases with each account level.

Additionally, the minimum bidding price changes according to the time of day, with lower bidding prices between 7 am and 12:59 pm compared to 1 am to 6:59 am. For example, an order with a 4-hour deadline will have a minimum bid of $11 in Expert accounts, $9.5 in Advanced accounts, $7.5 in Intermediate accounts, and $6.5 in Beginner accounts between 1 am to 6:59 am. The bidding price of a similar order will decrease to $9.5, $8.5, $6.5, and $5.5 respectively in the same accounts between 7 am and 12:59 pm.
